Quick Serve Process Serving & Mobile Notary
Effective Date: September 1, 2025

Quick Serve Process Serving & Mobile Notary (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a California-based business providing process serving and mobile notary services. We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and legal rights of our clients and all individuals whose information we handle. This Privacy Policy is designed to comply with applicable California and federal privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Information We Collect

In the course of providing lawful process serving and mobile notary services in California, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Identifiers (such as name, address, phone number, and email address)
  • Case-related and court-related information provided by clients
  • Legal documents required to complete service of process or notarial acts
  • Records of service attempts and notarizations (dates, times, locations, and outcomes)
  • Invoicing and payment records (excluding credit card information)
     

We collect only information that is reasonably necessary to perform our legal, professional, and statutory duties.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed through GoDaddy Invoicing, a third-party payment processor.


  • Quick Serve Process Serving & Mobile Notary does not collect, store, or retain any credit card or banking information.
  • Payment information is handled solely by GoDaddy in accordance with their privacy and security standards.
     

Document Retention (California Practice)

  • Court documents, notarial records, service records, and related files are retained for up to one (1) year from completion of services, unless a longer retention period is required by law, court order, or active litigation.
  • Notary journals, when applicable, are maintained in accordance with California Secretary of State requirements.
  • After applicable retention periods, documents are securely deleted or destroyed to prevent unauthorized access.
     

Use of Body-Worn Camera

For safety, accountability, and evidentiary purposes, Quick Serve Process Serving may utilize a body-worn camera during process serving attempts.

  • Body camera usage does not occur during notarizations where prohibited by law or where it may interfere with notarial duties.
  • Body Camera usage is used during Process Serving attempts where allowed by law.
  • Body camera footage is not released to the individual being served or by the provider.
  • Footage may be retained and used as evidence in court, or disclosed only in response to a lawful subpoena, court order, or legal proceeding.
  • All recordings are handled securely and accessed only when legally necessary.
     

How We Use Personal Information

Personal information is used strictly to:

  • Perform lawful service of process under California law
  • Perform mobile notary services in compliance with California notary regulations
  • Complete and file Proofs of Service and notarial records
  • Communicate with clients regarding service or appointment status
  • Maintain accurate legal and business records
  • Comply with court rules, Secretary of State regulations, and legal obligations
     

We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information for marketing or advertising purposes.


California Consumer Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

Under California law, California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected and how it is used 
  • Request access to personal information we maintain, subject to legal exemptions
  • Request deletion of personal information, where legally permissible
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights
     

Certain information collected for legal compliance, court records, notarial journals, or litigation purposes may be exempt from deletion or disclosure requests as permitted under California law.


Requests must be submitted in writing and may require identity verification.


Information Sharing & Legal Disclosure

We may disclose information only when necessary:

  • To courts, attorneys, or authorized legal parties 
  • To comply with subpoenas, court orders, or other legal obligations
  • To protect our legal rights, safety, and compliance with California law
     

We do not sell personal information.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal and legal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.


Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law or business practices. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
